Philosophy

We are committed to incorporating regional and European wine traditions within our philosophy and embrace them in our daily work. The wines embody our distinctive regional characteristics, which include special grape varieties and a taste of each particular terroir, to ensure only the highest quality of wine is made. Based on these shared ideas, we aim to become the leading wine estates within our respective wine growing regions.

A key step to accomplishing this goal is the focus on and nurture of our top wines. To achieve this, only clones of vines of the highest quality are selected and old vineyards are given extra care in order to preserve and maintain old and valuable grape varieties. This philosophy is present throughout the winemaking process as we renounce the usage of any genetically modified products or additives.

In addition to producing high quality wine, we have committed ourselves to enthuse and fascinate people with our wines. Thus, internal dialogue as well as dialogue with other national and international top wine growers, employees and customers, is an essential step to ensure ongoing quality advancement in all aspects of our business ventures. Furthermore, we put on regular wine tastings of international premium wines in conjunction with our wine makers in order to gain new ideas for our own work.

We, die Gueter, are primarily committed to maintain a close relationship with the gastronomy and trade market to ensure that our wines reach the clientele they are made for: the private wine connoisseurs. In addition, we take part in many trade shows in order to give the specialised audience the opportunity to taste and enjoy our new and old vintages.
